Submission Guidelines

We’re excited to review your manuscript!

We welcome submissions for K-8 fiction and nonfiction (especially SEL-focused) and adult fiction and nonfiction that inspire emotional connections. Our diverse author base includes educators, creatives, and professionals, and we encourage inclusive, heartfelt stories.

How to Submit Your Manuscript

  1. Prepare Your Manuscript:

    • Format: Microsoft Word or PDF, double-spaced, 12-point font (Times New Roman or Arial).

    • Word Count: K-8 fiction/nonfiction (5,000–30,000 words); adult fiction/nonfiction (40,000–80,000 words).

    • Include a cover page with your name, contact information, title, genre, target audience, and a 200-word synopsis.

  2. Include a Query Letter in your Submission:

    • Introduce yourself and your background (e.g., educator, creative, professional).

    • Explain how your manuscript aligns with our mission (e.g., SEL themes, emotional storytelling).

    • Highlight any relevant publishing or writing experience.

  3. Submit:

    • Email your query letter, synopsis, and the first 10 pages of your manuscript through the button below.

    • Subject Line: “Manuscript Submission: [Your Book Title]”.

    • We do not accept physical submissions or unsolicited full manuscripts.

Review Process

    • Response Time: 6-8 weeks. You’ll receive an email confirmation upon submission.

    • If selected, we’ll request the full manuscript and discuss package options.

    • We prioritize stories with strong narrative voices, diverse perspectives, and alignment with our mission.
